I have been quilting for over 40 years and still love fabrics and the process of quilting. My educational background includes a BA degree in Home Economics and an MS degree in Textile Sciences. I am also a Professional Artist Member of SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Association).

As a designated Traveling Teacher by the Quilt Guild of Arizona, I taught many classes in improvisational quilting. In addition, I lectured at the 2007 International Quilt Festival in Chicago and offered classes at the Zulu Art Gallery in Orlando, FL.

My quilts have been exhibited in many juried shows, including the 2006 International Quilt Festival in Houston, the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, Herberger Theater in Phoenix, Womanmade Gallery in Chicago, and was runner up in the Scottsdale Gallery Association Emerging Artist competition. In addition, ASU Gammage Performing Arts Center sponsored a solo exhibit in 2007 and Mercer University featured solo shows in their Brown Library in 2012 and 2013.

Two of my quilts, CPR and Cups, are featured in the book, African Wax Print: A Textile Journey by authors Magie Relph and Robert Irwin. Published in the UK in 2010.
