One of a kind contemporary folk art.
I love vintage clothing, and this quilt features sections of old, and sometimes well-worn, shirts. The blue/white striped fabric is from a vintage (1920's) man's dress shirt. The fabric is a crisp cotton with a rich feel. Some of the other pieces are from a wardrobe of mine from a "different time," when I wore linen with my Chanel shoes. One of the shirt pieces sports a Ralph Laren label; there are pockets that are functional, and sleeve cuffs with fantastic tailored plackets.
This is a large quilt with the bottom edge the actual shirttails from the vintage shirt.
