A Seat At the Table. Inspired by the philosophy that we all want a seat at the table, even if we are on opposite sides. The table is large enough for all of us and is set for a fine meal. The fabrics are custom-printed, and the backing is a vintage black and white polka dot damask that I had purchased at Britex, the iconic fabric store in San Francisco. Two edges are appliqued with Jaipur block prints, hand-blocked, one showing people with hands united and one with a person ostracised and separated.
This quilt would be a companion quilt to Hungry for Life, also available on this website.
