This quilt features reproduction rice and tea bag kitchen towels. I am a kitchen maven and love even the bags my rice comes in! These tea towels caught my attention, and I wanted to use them creatively. The quilt construction features ragged edge and traditional seaming methods, an unusual and intricate style. I wrote up chapters for a book and took many photos to describe the process required to use some ragged edge and some traditional quilted methods. In the end, I just wanted to quilt, so I set aside the idea of becoming an author, too!I love polka dots and used them in the borders to frame the central motifs.

Dancing Spirit Quilts, tops, backing, and batting, and are 100% cotton. Wash in warm water with a gentle detergent; they are dryer safe. Note: Quilts that are finished with or include a ragged edge may continue to "lint-out' during the next one or two washings, but will stabilize after that.
